Rene Russo and Rose Namajunas Bio

Rene Marie Russo is an American actor, filmmaker, and a former supermodel. Alongside her stunning appearance, her steady success in the film industry can be attributed to her talents as an actor. Her career began as a model during the 70s, and quickly became one of the top figures in modeling. She was a theatre and acting student towards the beginning of the decade, before starring on stages at Los Angeles, and other parts of California. Russo was first seen on screen on ABCs drama show Sable in 1987 portraying the character of Eden Kendell. Two years later, she played Tom Berengers lover in Major League. Although she was initially skeptical of her abilities as an actress the public was enticed by her stamina. Her praise was for her performance of Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak in which she was competing with Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. She has admitted that acting isn't her passion. She decided in 2005 to take a long, self-imposed hiatus. In the film Thor, she returned to acting. The Oscar-winning movie of her husband Nightcrawler was also one of her roles. The Intern was her first light-hearted comedy. The actress went on to be a part of Just Getting Started and other comedy films.

Rose Namajunas has been one of the UFC's most well-known female athletes. She was an amateur fightr that competed in regional events, before signing up with Invicta Fighting Championships. Then she joined the Ultimate Fighting Championships. Because of her success within and outside of the octagon, Namajunas has been known as a common name since joining UFC. Namajunas's family is Lithuanian who was born in Lithuania on June 29th in 1992. Growing up, Rose was involved in sports such as basketball and kickboxing. Invicta Fighting Championships made her professional debut at 18, when she defeated two of her opponents. Dana White noticed this and on December 14, 2014, at age 22, she signed up to compete as a strawweight with UFC. Rose has had highs & lows during her career. She has always won. Rose was a fighter against Carla Esparza at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in April 2015. Rose was awarded the Women's Strawweight Title and was also named the the title of Fighter of the Night. This was the first time a woman competed against a major promotion to win a championship. Namajunas was victorious in several bouts after this one, and was named Performance Of The Night by UFC for her victories over Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
